BriefKit ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
- Brief data — the form inputs you fill in and the generated brief packs.
- Account data — email, auth provider (Google or magic link), display name.
- Payment metadata — handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
- Product analytics — anonymized events via PostHog (page views, feature usage).
How we use it
- To generate, store, and let you re-export your brief packs.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To debug issues and improve the product.
We never train AI models on your briefs, and we never sell or rent your data.
Where it lives
Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) and AWS S3-compatible storage, both in EU/US regions with encryption at rest and in transit.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies for auth sessions and CSRF protection. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can export all your data as JSON or delete your account at any time from My Briefs → Export my data / Delete account. We comply with GDPR (EU) and DPDPA (India) requests within 30 days.
